ABOUT US

• We assist customers with PennDOT inspection procedures while serving the best interests of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We specialize in Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspections for branded titles, alongside annual Safety and Emission Inspections. We value high personal accountability and integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspections: Perform safety, enhanced safety, and emissions testing under PennDOT Publication standards.
• Compliance & Reporting: Complete computer-generated reports and strictly manage PennDOT inspections tracking.
• Shop Support: Maintain diagnostic tools and perform semi-skilled automotive tasks to support daily shop operations.

MANDATORY PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Driver’s License: Valid State Driver’s License with a clean 5-year driving history.
• ASE Certifications: Active certification in at least one: A4, A5, B3, B4, B5, or B6.
• PennDOT Emission License: Inspector or Repair Technician (A8).
• PennDOT Safety License: Class 1, 4, 5, or 7.
• PennDOT Enhanced Safety License: Category 4 / Class J.
• Tools & Vetting: Must own standard testing tools and pass a PSP background check and drug screening.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

• Total Commitment: Exactly 40 hours per week scheduled within shop operating hours.
• Shop Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and Saturday (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
• Mandatory Shift: A Saturday shift is strictly required as part of your standard 40-hour work week.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

• Supervised Probation: $31,200/year ($15.00/hr)
• Autonomous Work (Post-Probation): $41,600/year ($20.00/hr)
